THE VALIANT FIGHTER

The Valiant Fighter: A Biographical Study of Master Tara Singh, written in 1942. This biography is the devoted effort of the esteemed biographer Durlab Singh, who, at the time of writing The Valiant Fighter, had already completed biographies of Subhas Chandra Bose and Rabindranath Tagore, and would go on to have a long career as a journalist in independent India. The biography was first published by Hero Publications of Lahore—the same press that was publishing Durlab Singh’s aforementioned biographies of Indian nationalist leaders.
